These third parties are provided with personal information necessary to perform the task and may not use it for any other purpose.   1. co.uk does not collect data as you browse it. We do use Google Analytics to understand how the website is being used and how, or from where, people arrive at the website. This data is collected using cookies. Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. The cookies we use do not contain any personal information that can be used to identify you. You can configure your browser so that cookies are not used automatically but in a few cases, some of the website features may not function as a result.

    • You subscribe to the becomingachampion.co.uk blog notification service, we need your name and email address.
  1. Our website includes links to other sites which may be of interest to you. This privacy policy only applies to the becomingachampion.co.uk website. We cannot, and have not, reviewed the sites linked to our site and cannot be held liable for their content. Users link to, and use, other sites at their own risk. Personal Training Clients, Emergency contacts, & Third-Party Payees

Basis for processing: Contract & Legitimate Interest

  1. We collect data about you when you become a client. This data includes, but is not limited to:
    • Client name and contact details (address, phone number, email address);
    • Health and medical information (only that which is required to safely carry out personal training services);
  1. We collect data about you when a client registers you as their emergency contact or if you are the payee. This data includes, but is not limited to:
    • Emergency contact name and contact details (address, phone number, email address).
    • Third Party Payee name, contact details (phone number, email address).
  1. When you become a client, you enter into a contract and agree to the Client Trainer Agreement, and Disclaimer and Consent. Glenn Parker Training Ltd provides you with personal training as stated within – this includes contacting you, via the nominated contact details.
  1. Data is collected when:
    • You register as a client
    • After every training session to track progress
    • If your health or medical information changes
    • If your Emergency contact changes
    • You request information, advice or guidance from us
  1. We only share your data with select 3rd parties as listed below:
    • JotForm – to provide the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR Q). Information about your health and medical history is required to safely carry out personal training. JotForm are certified to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. JotForm abides by the current GDPR regulations.     • My PT Hub – to provide personal training administration and client communication, including but not limited to workout tracking, nutritional tracking, and client body measurements.
    • Microsoft Onedrive – to store Client Trainer Agreements, Disclaimer and Consent forms, and training progress. Microsoft Onedrive data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Two factor Authentication is activated. Microsoft are certified to the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.
  2. All information we collect is kept confidential and is processed to deliver services as per the Client Trainer Agreement and any other requests received.
  • The legal basis for processing your data under this head is ‘contract’, so that the Glenn Parker Training Ltd can provide the personal training services. We also process information under this head based on ‘legitimate interest’, so that we can send you information that we consider may benefit you or be of interest to you.
  • If you decide to discontinue personal training services, your name and contact details will be kept indefinitely. All other data will be held for a maximum period of 7 years, in line with insurance and tax policies, after which point it will be deleted.
  • Whilst you are a client, we want to ensure that your data is accurate and up to date, and that it reflects your preferences. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate at any time by emailing glenn@becomingachampion.co.uk
  • We do not use your personal data for any automated decision making or profiling.

Prospective Personal Training Clients

  1. We collect data about you when you enquire about becoming a client. This data includes, but is not limited to:
    • Prospective client name and contact details (address, phone number, email address).
  1. We gather information on prospective clients from various sources, such as articles that we read, internet searches, coming across them ‘organically’ i.e. a search that leads to other searches, because of recommendations from current or former clients.
  1. We only share your data with select 3rd parties as listed below:
    • Microsoft Onedrive – to store prospective client details. Microsoft Onedrive data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Two factor Authentication is activated. Microsoft are certified to the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.
  • The legal basis for processing your data under this head is ‘legitimate interest’, so that the Glenn Parker Training Ltd can provide you with information that we feel may benefit you by becoming a personal training client or be of interest to you.
