Help For Heroes is committed to providing direct, practical support to individuals as well building long-term support for their futures, and for their families.

I know how it feels to suffer alone, to be frightened, disabled and to not have hope for the future. Not to be able to do the job I was trained to do and do not have a career. Who will want to employ me? Where will I live? What if I have another panic attack? Right now, at this very moment, there are many more veterans whoy are suffering from their own distresses and traumas. They feel alone… Who will they turn to?

Recent statistics show that 7 people a day are medically discharged from the Armed Forces. That’s where I came in to help raise funds for this essential and important charity.

I have been volunteering, fundraising and speaking for Help For Heroes for nearly 2 years now. I hiked to Base Camp Mt Everest in November 2017 and Cycled 250 miles on the Big Battlefield Bike Ride in 2018 to name just two. I shall be embarking upon the Big Battlefield Bike Ride 2019 and will be visiting all the H4H centers, including Plymouth, Colchester, Tidworth and Catterick. I have been privileged to have seen veterans supported in their transition to civilian life and how this can quickly improve their quality of life. This only happens because of funds which are donated and provided by your kind generosity. So, I ask you please place a donation towards this amazing cause and help continue Its aims, which are to Inspire, Enable & Support veterans and Service Personnel to look beyond illness and injury.
